McWilliam’s Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon is an absolute bargain ($$) for what it is! It is an iconic, classic Australian white made in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. I discovered this wine at Costco! I was not quite sure what it would be like but the age (2007) and price drew me to it. I tried one bottle and was so impressed with it I went back the next day and bought a dozen more! It is a very versatile white wine that is excellent with a range of different types of food! I love it because it is not only tastes great with food, but it is easy to drink as it is. It cellars well for up to 7 years.
