I am surrounded by great pubs and restaurants but until recently was lacking in a place to go where you could just sit and enjoy really good wine with a bit of cheese and cold cuts! Somewhere local, somewhere friendly, somewhere cosy, somewhere where I can pick something really nice and drink it! Harry & Frankie, Port Melbourne is that place! They sell a range of local and international wines from small producers, some you will have difficulty finding anywhere else. The wines are reasonably priced, the same as anywhere but the difference is, you can play a small corkage fee and enjoy the wine at the bar! They have a great menu of cheeses, cold meats and quality snacks and often do 1 – 2 main dishes in the evening. Everything I have tasted is amazing. They occasionally do wine dinners which are generally sold out as soon as they are advertised – worth keeping a lookout on their website!
