Orange Syrup

- Beat eggs and sugar in a large bowl until thick and creamy. Add orange pulp, melted chocolate, almond meal and baking powder. Gently stir until well combined. Spoon into prepared pan.
- Bake for 1hr 15 mins to 1hr 25 mins or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Make Orange Flower Syrup
- Combine sugar and orange juice in a saucepan over a medium-low heat. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 4 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Place cake on a plate. Drizzle with orange flower syrup. You may need to make holes in the cake with a skewer to enable the syrup to penetrate the cake.
