This mousse is magical because it is dairy free, virtually sugar free, is healthy and tastes divine!!! What more can you want from a mousse???
Hints & Tips
- This recipe only serves 4 – this is intentional as its a recipe I would make for friends who want a dessert but have dietary restrictions. You can halve the ingredients to serve 2 or increase to serve more.
- You can replace the maple syrup with agarve syrup or honey.
- I have used strawberries but you can also serve with raspberries.

Ingredients
- 100 grams Lindt 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
- 20 grams Fresh Mint Leaves, Shredded
- 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 1 Ripe Avocado
- Fresh Strawberries to Serve
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate over a low heat. Add the mint leaves and stir well to ensure the mint is covered in chocolate.
- Add maple syrup and stir well to combine.
- Allow to cool slightly. Blend in the avocado until well mixed.
- Scoop into bowls and serve immediately or refrigerate until required.
- Serve as it is or topped with cut fresh strawberries,
