This is another quick, simple but tasty entree that can be made very quickly. If you keep the ingredients in the pantry, you can whip it up any time unexpected guests arrive. It also works well for parties too!
Hints & Tips
- Be careful using flavoured bread-sticks – sea salt ones will result in them being too salty – plain, thin, medium length bread-sticks work the best.
- You can vary the amount you make, depending on the number of guests.
- Make sure the prosciutto is very thinly sliced. If it is sliced too thickly, you will not be able to wrap it around the bread-stick.
- Do not make these too far ahead of time. I have found that after a few hours, the bread-stick absorbs the moisture from the prosciutto and goes a bit soft!
Ingredients
- 1 Packet of Bread-Sticks
- 16 Thin Slices of Prosciutto
Instructions
- Take a bread-stick and a slice of prosciutto. Holding the bread-stick at one end, angle the prosciutto lengthways and drape it over the bread-stick. Hold it in place and twist the bread-stick as you wrap the prosciutto down the full length of the bread-stick.
- Place in rows on a nice serving dish.
