Plain water should always be part of any drinks menu but for most people it can be a little boring! Water can be “spiced” up to taste more refreshing and look great in a clear glass jug without adding chemicals or sweetners!
Hints & Tips
- There is nothing more refreshing than the addition of fresh cut limes or lemons. Rather than just serving as a slice in a glass with ice, prepare a jug of water in advance. Squeeze in the juice from half a lemon (or lime) and then add in a few slices of lemon (or lime). Leave in the fridge until ready to serve!
- As an alternative, try fresh, torn mint leaves, basil leaves or a mix of grated and chopped ginger. Prepare in advance and allow to infuse.
- For a “dessert” water, why not scrape the contents of a vanilla bean into a jug of water and then add the whole vanilla bean!

Instructions
- Pour water into a jug.
- Add flavour addition of your choice to the water. Cover and leave in the fridge to infuse.
- Serve as an alternative to plain water. Can be served cold as it is or with ice.
