Entertaining Made Easy

29/03/2016

MENU – Quick, Easy & Impressive Seafood!

FreshFish

You want to do a dinner party but simply do not have the time?  This menu is quick, easy and impressive.  It requires some time but not as much as other menus!  You can prepare the egg crepes for the Smoked Salmon Egg Crepes the day before.  Same with the Prawn Pate.  The Baked Salmon is simple as is the Pan Fried Fish!  Can be quickly made on the day.  The Asparagus takes 5 minutes and the Beetroot, Fetta and Spinach Salad is 10 minutes or less!  The Chocolate Ripple Mint Log is simple and quick and requires no baking – it is best made the night before or on the morning as it needs hours to in the fridge before serving.

The other thing about this menu is that you can scale it up or down depending on the number of guests!  If you have a larger number of guests, I would suggest just doing the one main – the Baked Salmon as you can bake lots of pieces of Salmon at once where as it requires multiple frying pans or BBQ space to pan fry the fish.  If you do not have time to make dessert, buy a selection of cakes or a whole cake from a good bakery and you are ready to go!
